This short project was looking at Dylan Thomas.
So my brief was to create a piece of graphic design inspired by the man, which is really open ended.
As always i struggle with open briefs as i like my restrictions, so i made my own rules.
Black and white because in his days televisions were just introduced.
And i wanted to explore typography to expand my portfolio.

So the concept is basically that due to information being so easily accessible due to todays technology, that in an instance you can find out a lot about a person. I had created little phrases that can be depicted with the help of a search engine. For example the audience could then type in 'Dylan Thomas 1914' and in less than 30 seconds find out thats his year of birth.
The main purpose of this is to inform people about who he is, because I don't really know his background at all, but it took me no time at all to find out his history.
